Workshop to explore low-carbon district heating solutions

REHAU will hold a workshop in London on 27 November 2025 to explore developments in low-carbon district heating networks, bringing together industry experts for presentations and discussions. The free event, titled Next Level Heat Networks, will take place at The Building Centre and aims to provide insights into the latest innovations and best practices for reducing carbon emissions in heat systems.

The workshop will feature keynote speakers from across the sector, including representatives from Fairheat, AECOM, GTC and REHAU itself. Sessions will cover a range of topics, from updates on the UK heat network market and the Heat Network Technical Assurance Scheme to opportunities for reusing heat from data centres and innovations in polymer pipework and network design software. Other discussions will focus on retrofitting heat networks in heritage estates and the installation of low-density networks in new-build developments.

The event will be structured around two presentation sessions, each followed by a panel discussion and audience Q&A. Attendees will also have the chance to network over a light lunch.

The workshop is open to industry stakeholders and offers a forum for learning about technological advancements, market developments and practical approaches to implementing low-carbon heat networks.
