New offices and training facility for Distech Controls

A new office and training centre has been opened by in Birmingham by Distech Controls, the manufacturer of intelligent building solutions. At a celebratory event to mark its official opening, the company also announced the formation of its UK legal entity, Acuity Intelligent Spaces UK Limited (t/a Distech Controls UK), marking an important stage in its strategy to strengthen and expand its operations in the UK.

“Distech Controls is dedicated to pushing boundaries and achieving excellence,” says Simon Ward, Director of Sales – UK & Ireland for Distech Controls. “The new UK entity and office represent the next step in our journey to better serve our customers by streamlining operations, driving local innovation and fostering closer relationships with partners in the region. The office will also become a space for Distech Controls to hold its training courses, deliver product demonstrations and be a base for the company’s excellent technical and customer support UK team. As we settle into our new space, we look forward to welcoming end customers, channel partners, and visitors to experience the new office and participate in training.”

Martin Villeneuve, President of Distech Controls, joined Simon at the official opening. He adds: “establishing our UK entity and opening our UK office is an integral part of our global growth and closely follows the expansion of our European HQ building in Lyon, France and the construction work underway at our Global HQ in Brossard, Canada. A UK training hub 

Distech Controls will be running a full, face-to-face training programme at the new facility with its team of experienced instructors delivering hands-on, practical material. The courses will cover its latest technology including the Eclypse® Connected Controller series. Distech Controls can also offer bespoke training for channel partners and end customers.
