Industry collaboration platform set to support net zero goals

BEAMA has introduced BEAMA 2050 Connected, a not-for-profit subscription service aimed at uniting the manufacturing, energy, and built environment sectors to achieve decarbonisation and promote a circular economy by 2050.

The initiative provides subscribers access to essential resources, networking opportunities, and policy insights to help navigate the complexities of decarbonisation and sustainability in an informed, aligned, and consistent manner. By fostering collaboration across the entire supply chain, the subscription aims to accelerate and standardise efforts, ensuring a cohesive approach towards net zero and a circular economy.

Erika Wilson, MD at Wilson Power Solutions, has said that the platform will provide a coherent approach to help businesses deliver the necessary products for the UK to achieve its net zero and circular economy goals, emphasising the need for scaling operations responsibly and the importance of sharing manufacturing realities with policymakers.

The subscription service will officially open for collaboration in April 2025, inviting companies to join, act and contribute to a sustainable future.
