Hamworthy Heating nets web prize
The firm, which launched its new website in February last year, beat a record number of entrants to the prize, with the judges stating that the new webpage is a “really honest site” with “bags of user input at the design stage,” while also highlighting how the site’s staff and customer testimonials “confirm that the end result is exactly what was intended at the outset.”
Hamworthy Heating’s website has seen a 148% increase in visitors from organic searches, along with a 766% increase in enquiries since launch, both of which helped the British company fight off competition from British Gypsum, Catnic, EH Smith and Eurocell to take the prize.
Julie Shaw, Marketing Manager at Hamworthy Heating, “We had a very short timeframe to deliver the new site earlier this year and wanted to make sure it gave our customers and staff exactly what they needed.
“We are so pleased to win this national award. The feedback and results we’ve seen from our website in the first year have been amazing.”
