EV charging division launched by Muirhall Energy

The independent Scottish renewables developer, Muirhall Energy, has formally launched Greenwheel Electric, aiming to provide new capacity in the EV charging market.

The division is an innovative new operator of 100% renewable power charging hubs, offering market leading low cost charging direct from the point of electricity generation. It is being headed up by MD, Jason McCall, a renewables sector specialist with over 16 years of industry experience in large-scale infrastructure, development and investment.

Greenwheel Electric, from its base in South Lanarkshire, is launching ambitious plans for a UK-wide roll-out of integrated charging hubs, to provide a proposition combining industry-leading low cost charging direct from renewable power generation; recharging with an ultra-fast guarantee; prime located stations, designed for EVs in urban and rural locations; and high quality, exclusive, integrated facilities prioritising user experience.

Setting out the ambitious plans for early expansion, Jason McCall MD of Greenwheel Electric says:

“We already have 30 sites in active consideration, and the first of those will start to come forward for planning approval in Spring 2025.
