System captures wasted electricity from industrial machines

The system captures electricity that would otherwise be dissipated as heat when industrial equipment slows down, feeding it back into the factory power network for immediate reuse. For large machine clusters, typical recoveries range from 10-20% of total electricity consumption, translating to tens of thousands of pounds in annual savings.
The technology is designed to be equipment-agnostic, integrating with machines from any manufacturer, and supports site-wide energy recovery networks across multiple units. Installation is rapid, taking only hours with no production downtime, compared with weeks or months for full drive system replacements. The company offers a zero-risk rental model, where customers pay nothing upfront and monthly fees are based solely on verified energy savings.
The system includes fail-safe measures to handle excess braking energy safely and standardised sizing to suit different applications without custom engineering. Initial commercial deployments are planned for Q1 2026 with automotive and construction materials manufacturers, addressing rising energy costs and net-zero commitments.
