Sustainable comfort and process cooling
Adveco has introduced the Chilled Water System (CWS), a range of premium carbon steel tanks designed for commercial cooling applications. The CWS tanks, available 10 models ranging from 300 to 5,000 litres, are suitable for storing chilled water in systems such as heat pumps, chillers, and fan coil units.
The CWS tanks feature large connections at high and low levels, providing versatility for moderate to high flow rates and compatibility with multiple cooling sources. With dual-layer insulation, including an anti-condensation underlay and 100mm of outer insulation, the tanks ensure optimal temperature control and prevent condensation.
Designed with a low maximum height, the CWS tanks are easy to install in plant rooms with limited clearance. They incorporate internal partitions for improved stratification and prevent preferential flows. The outer insulation can be temporarily removed to facilitate installation.
The CWS tanks are suitable for standard working pressures of up to 6 bar, with 10 bar versions available for projects requiring higher pressure, such as multi-storey buildings with basement plant rooms. Multiple sensor pockets allow for easy integration of controls or BMS sensors, while an inspection/clean-out flange enables convenient service and maintenance.
The Adveco CWS range is described as offering a cost-effective solution that meets the majority of cooling system requirements, eliminating the need for bespoke cylinder manufacturing. The tanks can be seamlessly incorporated into packaged plant rooms, leveraging the benefits of offsite construction for improved system quality and faster installation.
