Improved visibility through advanced battery data analytics

SoLive PRO BESS is the name of SOCOMEC’s new digital monitoring platform for battery energy storage systems. The platform, available online, is designed for BESS owners that need greater control over battery efficiency, safety and overall system performance. Every BESS sold by Socomec now includes five years of this standard monitoring service as part of the product offering.
The platform embeds data-driven Battery Data Analytics (BDA) technology, added through Socomec’s acquisition of PowerUp in 2025. The platform combines live and historical operating data to monitor battery condition throughout the asset lifecycle. The system can identify signs of degradation that may not be detected through standard battery management systems by analysing measures including state of health, remaining useful lifetime and cell imbalance.
The platform includes standard monitoring with system-wide performance indicators, while an advanced option adds rack-level analysis, downloadable historical data and API connections for integration with energy management systems and third-party software. The technology can help extend battery lifetime, improve system availability and increase usable storage capacity.
