Airflow solution adapts instantly to temperature changes
The Series JSL-T is an ultra-high-capacity linear slot diffuser with thermal transition, developed by Gilberts Blackpool, to provide consistent comfort conditions in commercial buildings.
The diffuser adjusts airflow automatically in response to changes in temperature, eliminating the need for electrical power or auxiliary systems. This is achieved through the use of thermally reactive materials and a specially configured plenum and diffuser design.
In cooling/isothermal mode, air supply of up to 250L/s/m is delivered horizontally. When a variation in temperature is sensed, the diffuser automatically switches to project the air vertically. As Series JSL-T has an airthrow of 5m, this ensures rapid, effective mixing of air within the occupied zone, maintaining the ambient temperature without stratification or draughts.
The diffuser is suitable for both ceiling and side wall applications and can be customised with acoustic or thermal insulation. The combination of features optimises its incorporation into almost any building services project in a commercial environment.
