Underfloor Heating
Nearly half the energy we consume in the UK is used to produce heat, representing the single biggest reason why we use energy in our society. Currently we meet around 2 per cent of this demand with heat from renewable sources 1 and 80 per cent of all heat in the UK is supplied by natural gas2. Optimising the use of gas and extending the application of renewable energy to space heating are key objectives that underfloor heating (UFH) is helping to achieve on the road to meeting the UK’s emissions reduction targets.
