The Solition Powerbooster 2.0 from EXIDE TECHNOLOGIES is a new-generation modular energy storage system with a 62kWh capacity, aimed at commercial and industrial users requiring flexible power management for applications such as EV charging, peak load management and grid-constrained sites.
Built on lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery technology, it is described as offering improved safety performance, thermal stability and a long cycle life. Its modular architecture enables multiple units to be connected in parallel, allowing capacity to scale with demand. The unit also has a compact footprint and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor deployment.
It is designed for use during periods of high energy demand, supporting functions such as peak shaving and energy buffering in EV fleets and industrial logistics. The system can also be integrated with renewable generation or backup power sources, including photovoltaic systems and diesel generators, within broader site energy configurations.
Energy management software supports optimisation features such as peak shaving and solar balancing, alongside cloud-based logging, remote monitoring and over-the-air updates. It also provides configurable installation options to simplify integration into existing electrical infrastructure.
