Compact plug-in cold storage container

The L-STORE from TRANE is a compact plug-in cold storage container designed for users who need small-scale temperature-controlled storage without building a permanent cold room. The unit is self-contained and connects to a standard electrical supply, allowing it to be installed and put into use without construction work.
It uses a Thermo King VX-Series refrigeration unit and is specified to reach temperatures down to -25°C. It is designed to operate in ambient conditions ranging from -20°C to +45°C. The containers are manufactured in Europe using insulated panel construction intended to maintain stable internal temperatures and consistent performance over time.
Two sizes are available: a 2m x 2m x 2m unit with a single-phase 230V supply, and a larger 4m × 2m × 2m version with a three-phase 400V connection. Both models include a single insulated door fitted with a silicone curtain, along with a non-slip floor, internal lighting, a door-opening sensor and an internal safety handle. An optional telematics package allows remote monitoring and control via web or mobile access.
L-STORE strengthens Trane’s thermal systems portfolio, extending operating setpoints from -30°C to +120°C.
