Designed for industrial and commercial climate control applications, the MX3 and MX3 PLUS form a new series of desiccant dehumidifiers from MUNTERS. The system is intended for environments requiring humidity control and temperature management, including pharmaceuticals, food processing, storage and preservation. The manufacturer describes the series as a scalable platform for full humidity and temperature control.
The MX3 can be used as a standalone dehumidifier, while the MX3 PLUS is designed for integration into a configurable air treatment system with optional pre-treatment and post-treatment modules for filtering, heating, cooling and humidification. Airflow capacities range from 3,000 to 9,500 m³/h, with multiple configuration options to suit different installations. Reactivation can be specified as gas, steam or electric, depending on system requirements.
According to Munters, the MX3 Series offers up to 15–20% lower energy consumption compared with previous models, with potential CO2 emissions reductions of up to 15%. The series incorporates advanced purge technology and provides optional AirC Connect for remote monitoring and control. It is built for customisable deployment in industrial air treatment systems.
